Buh-Bye Summer 2010

I did some pretty sweet stuff this summer, but I am sad to see it go mostly because I like to hang out, stay up late, and sleep in! However duty calls and I know that I am here on earth to be a teacher, coach, and a role model for young people - so off to work I go! 

A few things I did this summer: an amazing trip to the South Pacific, hung out with my fantastic roommates-Friday night roommates included, played with little Cass (alot), ate lots of great food prepared by Leah, went swimming, went to a craft fair in Westport, did some random photo taking in the city, the list keeps going. Here are a few pictures of a few things.

Butterfly day

So awhile ago we went to The Family Tree Nursery to see the Monarch Butterfly exhibit. You might have already heard about it if you read Carlye's blog. Here are some of the pictures that I took on our fun outing.

An important homeowner purchase. A wet vac!

So I was trying to be helpful and load and run the dishwasher - however I made one tiny mistake and it took a little while to fix and I needed some back up help from my teammates at 6860! So do you have any guesses on what the tiny mistake was? Or where this is at?

No worries the problem did get fixed and the dishes, the dishwasher, and the floor are all in tip top condition - or at least they were when I left!

• Did lots of photo taking by walking around, going to the tip of the Sydney Tower, Ferry ride
• Bondi Beach
  
• Sydney Eye Hospital (Yoh had to get her eye re-check - not the most fun 4 hour wait)
• Sydney Harbor Bridge Climb (a huge highlight of mine)
• Whale watching
  
• Went to a wildlife place where you could pet koalas, kangaroos, and wallaby
• We went to a war memorial it is a replica of Washington D.C.
